Parmesan Baked Potatoes

Preheat oven to 400F/200C/Gas Mark 6. Melt the butter and pour into the baking dish (or simply put the unmelted butter in the dish and put both in the preheating oven) Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise. Do not peel. Sprinkle the Parmesan over the melted butter. Put the potatoes cut side down in the dish. Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes until tender.
