Ingredients

Serves: 12-14 as party snacks

Metric Cups
  • bread
  • gouda cheese (large slices)
  • onions (sliced)
  • tomatoes (sliced)
  • lettuce (shredded)
  • cabbages (shredded)
  • carrots
  • pecan nuts (toasted)
  • turkey bacon
  • turkey sausages
  • eggs (diced)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 splash of tabasco
  • lime juice
  • mayonnaise
  • sour cream
  • thousand island dressing
  • bread
  • gouda cheese (large slices)
  • onions (sliced)
  • tomatoes (sliced)
  • lettuce (shredded)
  • cabbages (shredded)
  • carrots
  • pecan nuts (toasted)
  • turkey bacon
  • turkey sausages
  • eggs (diced)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 splash of tabasco
  • lime juice
  • mayonnaise
  • sour cream
  • thousand island dressing

Method

Finger Food Trays is a community recipe submitted by Raha Lane and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  • In a large skillet, heat a little olive oil, fry turkey bacon bits, diced turkey sausage, and sliced onion. Stir, until meats are cooked.
  • Add eggs, salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Set aside to cool. Using sandwich bread, make sandwiches with the above mix and cut into triangles. Use toothpicks to hold together. Arrange in tray.
  • Toss together shredded lettuce, cabbage, carrots, and toasted pecans with thousand island and lime juice. Serve in scoop chips. Arrange on trays. Using sandwich breads, spread mayo and stack up gouda and tomatoes.
  • Cut into little squares and use toothpicks to hold. Arrange on a tray. Add a little seasoning to sour cream. Serve sour cream next to chips.
