In an electric stand mixer, mix butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, keep whipping until puffy and soft. Add dry ingredients gradually except nuts and dried fruits. Once the simple batter is ready, divide it into 4 separate bowls. Add walnuts and raisins to one. Add pecans and apricots to another. Add pistachio and golden raisins to one. And add almonds and cranberries to the last. On lined baking sheets, scoop out uniform cookie rounds and bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.
Introduction
Making these cookies in various combinations makes up a few batches of cookies that can be given away in bags as gifts.

- 4 sticks soft butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 tablespoons vanilla
- 4 large eggs
- 4 cups flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- ½ cup walnut pieces
- ½ cup chopped pecan nuts
- ½ cup chopped raw almonds
- ½ cup dried apricots
- ½ cup golden raisins
- ½ cup dried cranberries
- ½ cup raisins
