Process digestive biscuits with soft unsalted butter. Add chocolate chips. Press in to a flan dish and place in freezer to firm up Pour over softened coffee flavour ice cream. Cover with cling film and return to freezer. Add golden syrup to a saucepan with butter and muscovado sugar. Bring to the boil and let bubble for 5 mins. Add bourbon and cream. Let it cool but not set, and pour over ice cream

If you read Nigella's recipe she does use Bourbon - the drink - as she mentions the number of spoonfuls she uses.
Nigella didn't use Bourbon the drink, in this recipe but bourbon biscuits!
