Beat all the ingredients together with a hand whisk or wooden spoon for about 3-5 mins then put into a lined, greased 1.2l loaf tin. Bake 40 - 50 mins at 180C Meanwhile, heat the orange juice and golden caster sugar in a pan, stirring till the sugar is dissolved. Spoon this over the cooked cake and leave to cool in the tin. When cool, remove from the tin and cool completely on a wire rack. Finally, melt the chocolate over simmering water or in the microwave. Drizzle it over the cake and leave to set.

For the Chocolate Topping
- 50 grams dark chocolate

- 7 ounces self-rising flour
- 1½ teaspoons baking powder
- 7 ounces superfine sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 large orange zest
For the Orange Topping
- 3 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 ounces superfine sugar
For the Chocolate Topping
- 2 ounces bittersweet chocolate
