Cream of Green Garbanzo Soup

Use a food processor to puree garbanzos, butter, cream cheese, salt, cumin, red onion, & garlic. Put in 6 quart saucepan and heat to boiling adding broth and fold in cilantro if desired. Season to taste.

Serves: 6 - 8
- 32 ounces garden green garbanzos (Chickpeas)
- 1 butter (partially melted)
- 16 ounces cream cheese (full fat)
- 32 ounces cream (half fat)
- 1¾ teaspoons sea salt
- 2 cups vegetable broth (or chicken stock)
- ½ teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon tabasco
- 1 diced red onion
- ¼ bunch chopped cilantro
- 1 clove minced garlic
- ¼ cup water
- adobo seasoning (to taste)
