Heat oven to 375. Wash and separate cauliflower flowerets and stems. Bring to boil large pot of salted water. Toss flowerets in pot, and boil gently for one to two minutes. Drain. Prepare casserole dish with a light film of cooking spray. Place flowerets in dish. Drizzle cream over cauliflower, season to taste with salt and pepper. Add cheese, spreading evenly over the top. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until brown and bubbly. Win friends, get through the rest of winter.
Introduction
If you want a simple and delicious vegetable side dish, this is it. Lots of comfort here. A basic combination of complimentary ingredients and a little show of restraint (don't add anything else...it simply doesn't need it) and you will be in heaven. I tried this with roast pork tenderloin, peas and mint, and a nice lemon tart to finish. Teresa tree
