Introduction
This is the simplest brownie recipe i have ever used taught to me by my mum. Its great for when you dont have alot of ingredients in the cupboard. I hope you enjoy these as much as i do.

- 4 ounces vegetable oil
- 5 ounces plain chocolate (or milk)
- 2 eggs
- 4 ounces self-rising flour
- 4 ounces superfine sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
Method

Preheat oven 200 degrees C or gas mark 6. Use a little vegetable oil and grease a 9inch square tin and line lightly with greaseproof paper.
Melt chocolate with reaining oil and mix in until smooth.
Beat the eggs lightly and add them to the chocolate stirring vigorously.
Add to the flour, sugar and vanilla essence and mix together.
Pour into the prepared tin and bake for 10-20mins depending on whether you want them chewy or cake like.
Leave to cool for 10mins and cut into squares. When copletely cool remove from tin.
