Potato Fries With Indian Twist

In a Wok or Pan add the oil and heat. Add Asafoetida and Immediately add Mustard seeds (let it splutter for a second) Add Potatoes Add Turmeric Add Paprika Add Salt Turn the potatoes a bit in the pan to ensure all potatoes are coated Cover and cook for 6 minutes on low heat. Tip: Keep checking to ensure potatoes don't burn Tip: To check if potaotes are done use a skewer and see if they easily pierce through the potatoes or break easily. Once done garnish with grated ginger and coriander. Serve Tip: for faster cooking you can use boiled Potatoes however I prefer raw since they turn out crispier
Introduction
It's a Simple dish of Potato fries with a dash of Indian Spices. Makes for a Great Snack and even a Meal combined with Naan or Bread & a Chutney

For the Potato Fries
- 4 medium potatoes (peeled and sliced lengthways)
- ½ teaspoon asafoetida
- ½ teaspoon sea salt (or more depending on your taste)
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 4 tablespoons oil (use any which you prefer)
For the Garnish
- fresh coriander (chopped)
- fresh ginger (grated)
