sambal belacan is a spicy dip originated from the Malaysian Malay traditional recipe. we dip boiled or steamed vegetables and also to be taken with steamed/boil/fried rice.

- 3 red chillies
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon prawn paste
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- 3 tablespoons tamarind paste
- 3 tablespoons water
