Vietnamese Summer Rolls. Now, there's a delightful summer treat. My daughter used to complain that the wrapping didn't taste of much. Pretty logical, as it's basically a rice batter dipped in water to make it pliable: it's the filling (and the dipping sauce) that provide the flavor. My advice: dip the papers in beer or in white wine. For those of you who'd prefer a non-alcoholic option, you could try something else. The easy opening of a bottle of tipple is the way to go for me.
