I very much like the look of the recipe for Cosmo Cocktail Sausages, although I haven't tried it as yet. Can I freeze them once they are cooked?

Nigella's Cosmo Cocktail Sausages are bite-size sausages that have been covered in a cocktail-inspired coating of orange marmalade, cranberry, lime and vodka. They are baked in the oven until glossy, sticky and cooked through. Leftover sausages will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days and are best eaten cold, though we would warn that the sausages should not sit out for more than 2 hours if you have any leftovers.

We really feel that the sausages are at their best when freshly cooked and prefer not to recommend cooking them in advance for a party. However, if freezing leftovers, put them in a resealable container and freeze for up to 1 month. Thaw overnight in the fridge and eat cold. It is possible to mix the sausages with the marinade up to a day ahead. Store in the fridge and just tip into the lined roasting tin when ready to cook.
