Hi, I would like to make the Passionfruit Ice-Cream Cake with Coconut Caramel Sauce for an upcoming dinner party. Can the cake part be made without the alcohol?

Nigella's Passionfruit Ice-Cream Cake With Coconut Caramel Sauce (from AT MY TABLE) is easy to make and delicious to eat. The ice-cream cake is a mixture of whipped cream, passionfruit pulp, orange liqueur and crushed store-bought meringues.
The orange liqueur is added to give a slight orange flavour, which complements the passionfruit, and the small amount of alcohol helps to prevent the cream from freezing completely solid. However, it could be omitted without affecting the ice-cream cake significantly. The sugar in the meringues should mean that the cake is still easy to slice, but if it is very solid just let the cake stand at room temperature for a couple of minutes so that it softens up slightly. You may like to replace the liqueur with 4 teaspoons of freshly-squeezed orange juice or 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract for a little extra flavour.
