Our answer

Nigella's Salted Chocolate Tart (from SIMPLY NIGELLA) is a no-bake tart that has a crumb crust made from chocolate sandwich cookies and a chocolate custard filling that is cooked in a saucepan on top of the stove.

The filling includes a combination of milk and double (heavy) cream. It is possible to use plant-based alternatives for the filling but we are not sure that it is a good idea to substitute all of the cream with coconut milk. Instead, we would suggest using unsweetened coconut cream as an alternative for the double cream and coconut milk as an alternative for the milk. If you think that this will be too rich then you could change the proportions slightly, but we would not reduce the coconut cream to more than half of the total liquid. Coconut milk and cream can taste slightly sweeter than regular milk and cream so the filling may taste slightly sweeter overall, but as the filling itself is not heavily sweetened we don't think that it will end up being too saccharine. We would also mention that as we have not tried the tart in this form, we are unable to guarantee the result.
