I used a small gingerbread man cookie cutter, and then iced the sugar cookies to (loosely) resemble 'gingerbread men mummies', 'gingerbread men vampires' and 'gingerbread men skeletons'. My icing / piping skills obviously leave a lot to be desired, but you get the general idea! The cookies themselves were absolutely gorgeous, very buttery. ''A little bit like shortbread'' according to my husband.
