My first pavlova. Oh my goodness - I am so pleased with myself!! I made this as we were having proper good old friends to come and stay. Everyone absolutely loved it. The tip about altering the shop-bought lemon curd was really helpful and not something I would have considered. The almonds really balance the dish. I did this just with a hand held electric mixer and it was really easy. Thank you Nigella for encouraging me to make this beautiful dish. It has marked the start of many amazing pavlovas for friends and family x
