I have been making Linzer cookies for years, but the hazelnuts in this recipe are a game changer. I also like to play with shapes at Christmas so I made hearts. I made another batch and added some cocoa powder and some muscovado sugar. This time I made stars. I just feel like now more than ever I need stars and hearts and lights and reindeer around me to keep the fairytale alive. Thank you, Nigella, for this wonderful recipe. Merry Christmas everyone!
