I couldn't find rose extract in any of the stores I went to, so I used maple extract. Definitely would be better with the rose. I also don't have a food processor but I have a handheld chopper thing. That worked ok. I added an abstract rose with petals to give some color. With all of the modifications the cake turned out pretty well! I'm super glad I made it.
