There's a first time for everything, so they say. Today, on Father's Day, was mine, first attempt ever to make a trifle, and not only that, but also the first time ever to make an English custard and sugar caramel too. But it all came out rather satisfyingly good. It tasted delicious, that's certain. Instead of one big bowl, I chose two smaller ones, I halved the amount, but it all went down, greedy as we are, in one go. No supper needed. Thank You, Nigella.
