This is my take on Nigella’s Lemon Tendercake with Blueberry Compote. This is my first time making this cake (and first time entering) and I really had fun, which to me is what baking is all about. Though I must admit I did have to remind my family to stop crowding me as I was plating because their exuberance was quite palpable. After I took my photos the vultures descended and I was lovingly cast aside midst lots of yummy noises. Bon appetite!
