We're lucky to have stumbled upon mixed summer berries on sale at our farmers market over the weekend. I cooked mine in water and sugar as suggested in the recipe, but I added a good drop of vanilla and a little drop of rose water. I shaped mine using a bundt pan, which gave it tiny little grooves on the side. Thank you, Nigella!
