The Simply Nigella book shoot is two weeks' in, and I am just itching to have the book done to show y'all. On the other hand, I love the making of a book, so I don't want it to be over just yet. And nor will it be, as my publishers are painfully aware! I can't give publication dates for everywhere, but Simply Nigella will be published in the Autumn in the UK, US, Australia and New Zealand. This much I know.
Still, let me give you some photographic highlights. Bear in mind that the pictures I'm showing you are not by my wonderful photographer, Keiko Oikawa, but are just some of my snaps, taken with my iphone (with hands sticky with cake batter or whatever else I've been cooking in the moment) as we all joyfully go about our business, or I prep for it.
The profile pic here was taken on the first day of the shoot, and since then we've photographed 60 recipes. I'm going to be annoying and not explain exactly what the recipes are, even in the captions to the pictures below, as I want it all to be a surprise later, but I won't make my descriptions too cryptic!
