Dissolve the instant coffee in hot water to make the mock espresso, add a shot of brandy or rum to it. Place a scoop of vanilla ice-cream in a coffee cup or any fancy glass (in the magazine it was served in a large Martini glass). Pour the mock espresso over this, and sprinkle some cocoa powder or chocolate shavings on and serve immediately.

Introduction
I found this recipe in an old magazine today, I believe "Affagato" in Italian means "I am drowning". Well its just about serving coffee and dessert together instead of serving them separately.
