Heat vegetable oil in a pot. Fry spices and add in shallots, garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add chicken meat and stir. Put water, carrot and potato and simmer until chicken carrot and potato tender Add chicken cubes and salt to taste Serve hot and sprinkle with chopped spring onion and celery

- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- salt (to taste)
