Preheat oven to 180°C/Gas mark 4. Grease 2 baking trays. Beat together sugar and marg until light and fluffy. Stir in the syrup, flour, choc chips and milk. Mix well. Roll spoonfuls between your hands and flatten onto baking try, leaving room to for them to spread. Bake for 8-10 min. Remove from tray and place on wire rack to cool.
