In KA or by hand (really easy by hand) cream the butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy. Add the ginger syrup and mix in well. Sift in the flour and mix in, beat well until fluffy again. Put the bowl in the fridge covered with clingwrap and allow to set (around 30minutes). Using teaspoon size (ish) amounts make the biscuits, I don't roll them just splodge them onto the lined baking tray and press down a bit. Bake at gas 5 for around 15 minutes or until golden brown, Makes around 30 biscuits.
Introduction
Lovely delicately scented buttery biscuits. This is my own recipe. I use these as the base for my ginger and lime cheesecake.
