Wash and scrub the lemons in warm water. Peel just 3 of them and place peel in bowl. Juice all six (I usually place a sieve over the bowl). Mix in the sugar and stir. Pour over the boiling water stir and leave covered overnight or until cool. Place in the fridge and serve chilled.
