Preheat your oven to 200 C Mix the cream and lemonade together Mix the above into the sifted flour (it will be a bit sticky) Turn out onto a floured board, pat into a square and cut into squares (work as quickly as you can) Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 12 minutes

I tried these...had to convert over to US measurements. Wasn't sure about the lemonade so used lemon-lime soda with heavy cream and a smidgen of lemon juice (made buttermilk). They were a very good "biscuit" not sweet as I'm used to in a scone but next time I will add a teaspoon or so of Salt. Texture was a little dense maybe for the lack of butter..? This recipe is great when you're pressed for time. Fantastic with home made strawberry jam and butter. Definitely a keeper. Thanks Markella!
