Sausage and Cream Pasta

Fry eight pork sausages in a little oil till browned; (they do not need to be completely cooked). Slice into circles when cooled. In a little more olive oil, stir-fry two fat, thinly sliced leeks, a thinly sliced small stalk of celery and about ten sliced button mushrooms, all till soft. Add the sausages again and a cup of cream, salt and black pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes. Serve over tagliatelle. (The tagliatelle I used had basil in it.) If this is not enough cholesterol for you, add some grated cheese on top.
