This recipe was given to me about twenty years ago by a very old friend. I came across an old book with it in, I cannot believe it has been such a long time since I made it because it's so delicious!!

Ingredients

Serves: 4

Metric Cups
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 large bananas (sliced but not ripe)
  • 300 grams single cream
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 2 teaspoons chilli powder
  • 3 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 11 ounces heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 3 tablespoons tomato ketchup

Method

  • Cut the chicken breasts into lengthway peices.
  • Slice the two bananas.
  • Lightly sautee the chicken breast pieces until sealed. Place the chicken breast pieces into an oven proof dish with a lid. Add the bananas, curry powder, chilli powder, cream and tomato ketchup.
  • Cook in a moderate oven approx 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
  • Serve with basmati rice. Enjoy!

    I know that tomato ketchup sounds a bit odd, but believe me, it does work, if you love korma or other currys with fruit in, you will love this one!
