Sticky Spare Ribs

Put the ribs into an ovenproof glass (easier to clean) baking tray. Put all other ingredients into a saucepan and heat gently until smooth. This will only take a couple of mins. just until the sugar dissolves. Pour the sauce all over the ribs, making sure that they are evenly covered. Cook at 180 degrees for approx 45 mins. If the sauce is still a bit runny, remove ribs and boil the sauce on top of the cooker for a few mins until it becomes syrupy. Pour over the ribs or serve separately for dipping.
