Introduction
Pecan pie typically has corn syrup. I don't like corn syrup. So, I adapted this one from a few different recipes. Try it. Be sure to cook long enough and cool it thoroughly to allow it to set!

Ingredients
Serves: 6-8
- 1 cup soft light brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup melted and cooled butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 2 teaspoons best vanilla extract
- 1¼ cups roughly chopped pecan nuts

- Preheat oven to 400.
- Beat eggs until foamy.
- Fold in melted butter Stir in sugars last, add milk, flour, vanilla and nuts. stir well.
- Bake 10 min at 400 then reduce temp to 350 and bake for about 40 minutes.
Additional Information
I usually just use a pre-made pie dough... but, if you want to make your own, knock yourself out!!
