Ingredients

Metric Cups
  • 1 potato (sreamed in jacket)
  • 1 dash oil
  • 1 salmon fillet (skin on or off)
  • 63 millilitres water
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 83 millilitres peas (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 dash cream
  • 1 pinch of salt (to taste)
  • 1 pinch of pepper (to taste)

  • 1 salmon fillet (skin on or off)
  • 2 fluid ounces water
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 3 fluid ounces peas (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 dash cream
  • 1 pinch of salt (to taste)
  • 1 pinch of pepper (to taste)

Method

  • Steam the potato (or re-heat of it was cooked earlier).
  • In a medium pan, heat the oil and place salmon fillet. Add water and curry powder and poach for a 2-3 moments.
  • Heat your dinner plate and place on it your hot potato.
  • With a fork, smash it down a bit to collect the sauce.
  • To the pan, add peas and cream; season and cook further one minute until peas are cooked.
  • Place the fish atop the smashed potato and pour over the sauce.
  • Sprinkle over the chopped chives. Enjoy with a glass of white wine!
