I followed the recipe and instructions carefully but the filling of the Egg And Bacon pie was a little dry. Should it be more moist? What can I do next time to remedy this?

Nigella's Egg And Bacon Pie (from HOW TO BE A DOMESTIC GODDESS) is an old-fashioned double crust pie. The pie is filled with a mixture of bacon and onions mixed with eggs.
The pie itself is not meant to have a custardy quiche-like filling. There is no liquid apart from the eggs and these are mainly to bind the bacon and onions together in the filling, so that the filling does not fall out when the pie is cut. However, make sure that you don't overbake the pie and just cook until the top is pale gold and the edges are a little darker.
