Donal Skehan's recipes immediately evoke a large and happy table, and I'm not sure there is anything more one can ask of a cookbook or want in a cook. While he comes from the tradition of the hearty home Irish cook, the recipes in this book are extravagantly, enthusiastically eclectic. I've chosen the Salted Peanut Caramel Mud Pie for you because, frankly, how could I not?
