Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and almond extract. In separate bowl, mix dry ingredients (sift if you like- I don't:) Add dry ingredients to wet ones. Then mix in chips, choc bar and nuts. By this stage, I use my hands. Make golf-ball sized balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes. Do NOT OVER BAKE. They are much better slightly underdone.
Introduction
I got this recipe from my sister-in-law 13 years ago. I have been making them ever since. I get constant requests for the recipe. I'm glad to share it. My special secret ingredient is 1 teaspoon of almond extract in addition to the vanilla. It gives the cookies a richer flavour!!
