This recipe is great, it is so simple you cant go wrong, its not even cooking really, but at the end of a long day these are great with a scoop of Nigella's orange ice cream. a real relaxer.

Ingredients

Serves: however many bananas

Metric Cups
  • 4 bananas (soft)
  • light brown muscovado sugar
  • 4 bananas (soft)
  • light brown sugar

Method

  • Pre heat the oven to about gas 6
  • Peel the bananas , and cut them into quarters,
  • Lay all the pieces in the center of a large sheet of tin foil, and sprinkle over 4 tbsp of the sugar (so one tbsp of sugar to a banana if you are just doing it for yourself)
  • Then fold over the sides so it makes a neat parcel, put them on the top shelf of the oven, and check on them every 5 minutes, when they are done, all the sugar will have melted. Then enjoy!
