- Make a 'batter; of the Waffle ingredents. Dont be fooled about the 'Batter' word, the batter become a thick mixture wich you'll have to knead.
- Let the 'batter'rise for 45 minutes in a humid and warm place. Knead again and divide into small balls, walnut size. Make the filling:
- Heat the treacle with the other ingredients. Put a ball into the waffle maker and bake until done, plm.3-4 minutes, on medium heat. Watch out that they don't burn!
- Lift the waffle out with a knife and cut the waffle open while it is still hot. If it's cold it will crumble. Spread some of the treacle mix on one side of waffle and them press the other half on top. Repeat.
- Let them cool a bit before eating them, they are very hot!!
