Mix ingredients, but not chicken together into a paste Marinade chicken over night Place in 180 c oven for 1.5 hours covered with foil for first half hour. Turn chicken and spoon mixture on top. Check chicken is properly cooked.(Obviously!) Serve with Naan and rice

Introduction
This is an old recipe from my Mother who is from the Punjab in India. Although I do not think it is exclusive to this region it is very popular and very easy to make.

- 2 kilograms chicken (skinless and boneless)
- 100 grams fresh ginger
- 8 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 green chilli (to taste)
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 500 grams plain yoghurt
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 4⅖ pounds chicken (skinless and boneless)
- 3½ ounces fresh gingerroot
- 8 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 green chile (to taste)
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 17⅔ ounces plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
