Metric Cups
  • 250 grams flour
  • 100 grams soft light brown sugar
  • 40 grams cocoa powder
  • 10 grams baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 millilitres milk
  • 5 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoons milk jam
  • 9 ounces flour
  • 4 ounces soft light brown sugar
  • 1 ounce unsweetened cocoa
  • ounce baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 5¼ fluid ounces milk
  • 5 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoons milk jam

  • Preheat your oven to 180 C and butter your muffin pan or 12 muffin tins.
  • Sift the flour with baking powder, cocoa powder and sugar.
  • Mix together the beaten eggs, the milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, then add to dry ingredients and mix until just moistened.
  • Drop spoonfuls of milk jam into the mixture. Mix.
  • Fill buttered muffin tins about three-quarters full.
